Little Rock closes out the regular season portion of its 2017-18 schedule in Mississippi, competing in the 2018 Old Waverly Intercollegiate on Monday, April 16 and Tuesday, April 17 in West Point, Mississippi.
Tournament Information
The 2018 Old Waverly Intercollegiate, hosted by Mississippi State, will be held at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi, a par-72 course measuring 7,200 yards. The 54-hole event will be broken up over two days, beginning with the first two rounds Monday, April 16, getting underway with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday's final round will begin at 8 a.m. with tee times from holes 1 and 10. Live scoring of the event will be available at GolfStat.com.
Tournament Field
Little Rock will be one of 15 teams competing in the Old Waverly Intercollegiate and will be one of five Sun Belt Conference schools among the field, joined by Coastal Carolina, Louisiana, South Alabama and ULM. A challenging field, six teams currently rank among the GolfStat Top-100, comprised of LSU (No. 10), South Florida (No. 20), Ole Miss (No. 34), Mississippi State (No. 68), Lipscomb (No. 70) and Chattanooga (No. 98). The Chanticleers (No. 101), Jaguars (No. 105) and Warhawks (No. 109) are just outside the top-100 as the Trojans currently sit at No. 127.

Old Waverly History
Little Rock will be making its first appearance at the Old Waverly Intercollegiate this week and will be playing its first tournament in the state of Mississippi since placing 12th at the Sam Hall Intercollegiate in Hattiesburg September 12-13, 2016.
Last Time Out
Little Rock is coming off a seventh-place finish at the 2018 Seattle Redhawk Invitational in University Place, Washington, shooting a 49-over 901. The Trojans were led by
Danial Durisic, who tied for 12th overall with a 10-over 223, posting his sixth career top-20 showing. The seventh-place finish gave Little Rock its seventh top-10 team finish in nine events on the year.
Shooting Low
To date, Little Rock has posted 38 individual par-or-better rounds on the 2017-18 season, led by 11 from junior
Justin Warren. Freshman
Aaron Ramos has posted eight on the year, ranking second on the team with a 74.52 average, with sophomore
Logan Pate sitting third in both par-or-better rounds (seven) and scoring average (74.57). Freshman
Tiago Lobo and junior
George Scanlon have each finished at par or better five times as well as Scanlon (67), Pate (68), Lobo (69) and Ramos (69) have all carded a sub-70 round this season.
Roll On Mississippi
Little Rock closes out the regular season portion of its season competing in its seventh different state on the year. The Trojans have teed off in Tennessee, Colorado, Texas, Arkansas, California and Washington, accumulating over 14,000 miles to date. The trip to West Point will be the third-shortest of the season for Little Rock, roughly 300 miles one way from the Jack Stephens Center, as the Trojans will add one more state to its travelogue this season, heading to Florida next week for the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
Looking Ahead
The 2017-18 season culminates in Florida next week as Little Rock will compete in the 2018 Sun Belt Conference Championship in Sandestin, Florida. The conference tournament will take place Sunday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 24 at Raven Golf Club with a berth to the 2018 NCAA Regional Championships on the line.
