LITTLE ROCK – An unseasonably cold and blustery day was the main obstacle for Little Rock's men's outdoor track and field squad in Saturday's Little Rock Open at the Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex.

Emmanuel Olie set a new personal record in the 100 meter as he finished second with a time of 10.89 seconds.
Â
Also setting a personal record was
Jaelon Gossett in the 400-meter hurdles as he finished second with a time of 57.24 — the ninth-fastest time in program history.

Travion Clark was the Trojans' top finisher in the 200 as he came second in 22.10 seconds.
Jalen Black finished sixth in 22.70 seconds.

Noah Smith took second in the 800 with a time of 1:58.85 while
Imad Amenzou took fourth in 1:59.65.
Garrett Rokas came in seventh at 2:04.18 while
Jarred O'Connor and
Max Holzmueller finished 10th and 11th with times of 2:07.55 and 2:08.80, respectively.

Emilio Medina finished second in the 1500 meter with a time of 4:09.78.
Rogelio Araiza was 11th with a mark of 4:28.02.

In field events,
Nghia Dinh put up a mark of 13.40 meters in the triple jump to finish second, and Holzmueller had a mark of 11.31 meters in the shot put to finish sixth while tallying a new personal record.

Ch'kilas Calhoun was third in the 400 with a time of 51.44.

Keshawn Andrews,
Charles Okeze, Calhoun and Clark put up a time of 42.09 seconds in the 4x100 relay.

Little Rock will now prep for the UCA Open on Friday and Saturday in Conway.
