RAYMORE, Mo. – Little Rock sits in fourth-place after the opening round of the Kansas City Intercollegiate after posting a 21-over 309 Monday at Creekmoor Golf Club. The Trojans are 10 shots off the lead and seven shots back of a tie for second.

After snowy and cold conditions moved into the area Sunday, the decision was made to shorten the tournament to just 36 holes, beginning at 1 p.m. Monday afternoon. Temperatures lingered in the upper 40s with north winds keeping it chilly.
Four Trojans currently sit among the individual top-20, led by senior
Sabrina Bonanno's 4-over 76 in round one, sitting in sole possession of 10th. She holds a one stroke lead on junior
Emelie Blennow, who is tied for 11th at 5-over 77.

Lucy Owen were two shots off Bonanno's pace in round one as each carded a 6-over 78 and are tied for 17th overall. Sophomore
Thea Wakeford-Wesmann rounds out the Little Rock scorecard with an 8-over 80, tied for 29th overall.
Little Rock enters Tuesday's final round with a one stroke cushion on host UMKC (22-over 310) in fifth-place. The Trojans are seven shots back of both North Dakota State and South Dakota State, who are tied for second at 14-over 302, and are 10 strokes behind tournament leader IUPUI's 11-over 299.
The final round gets underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday morning as Little Rock will play with UMKC and Illinois State in the final round pairings. Live scoring is available at
