SACRAMENTO, Calif. –
Charles Okeze,
Travion Clark,
Ch'kilas Calhoun and
Keshawn Andrews will represent Little Rock's men's outdoor track team at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary beginning on Friday at Hornet Stadium on the campus of Sacramento State.

Okeze will represent Little Rock in the 200-meter dash after recording a season-best time of 20.63. His time was the third-fastest in the Sun Belt Conference, 22nd-fastest in the NCAA West Region and 49th-fastest in the country. This will be the eighth time that a Little Rock sprinter has competed in the 200-meter dash in an NCAA event.

Okeze's 200-meter race will take place on Friday at 7:30 p.m. (PT). The top three from the each of the six heats and the next six fastest times will advance to Saturday's quarterfinal.

The Trojans will also be one of 24 teams to compete in the 4x100-meter relay. Clark, Okeze, Calhoun and Andrews set a time of 40.08 during the season for the fourth-fastest time in the Sun Belt and the 48th-fastest time in the region. This will be just the second time in program history that Little Rock has competed in the 4x100-meter relay at the NCAA West Preliminary as they did it for the first time last season.

Their relay will take place on Saturday at 6 p.m. (PT). The top three from each of the three heats and the next three fastest times will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
