LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock Athletics has announced the addition of
Maggie Strange as an Athletic Academic Coordinator for the department. In this role, Strange will work closely with Trojan student-athletes, aiding them through their academic career as they progress towards graduation.

Molly Castner. "Her experience as both student-athlete and staff member at the Division I level, as well as her dedication to collegiate athletics will help Little Rock Athletics continue to graduate champions."
Strange comes to Little Rock after spending the past two years as a Student Development Specialist at Texas State. While in San Marcos, Strange helped supervise academic progress for a number of programs while advising and mentoring over 115 student-athletes about their academic progress.
Strange is familiar with the Natural State, spending two years in the Arkansas Tech Athletic Department prior to her time in San Marcos. Strange served as an operations manager with the Golden Suns softball team while also assisting in the sports information office.
A former Division I student-athlete, Strange was a catcher for the University of Wisconsin softball team from 2009-13. She was tabbed the Badgers' Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 and was a member of Wisconsin's Big Ten conference championship team in 2013.
Strange continued her softball career professionally, playing in Barcelona, Spain, in the summer of 2015 where she also spent time as an English tutor.
A native of Gallatin, Missouri, Strange earned her bachelor's degree in life science communication from Wisconsin in 2013. She then attained her master's degree in college student personnel from Arkansas Tech in 2016.
