BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – The Little Rock soccer team got its first win in the school's history Saturday, a 1-0 decision at Bartlesville Wesleyan College.

Freshman back Tim Gauvain of St. Louis cracked a penalty kick into the right side of the goal with five minutes gone in the second half for the winning edge.

LR, which tied Missouri Southern State Wednesday, is 1-0-1. Bartlesville Wesleyan is 0-1-0.

The Trojans were awarded the penalty kick when UALR freshman midfielder David Anders was tripped inside the box.

UALR will take a week off before its next game at Christian Brothers in Memphis on Sept. 17.
