NASHVILLE, Tenn. – UALR swimming wrapped up its opening weekend of competition in Nashville, Tenn., with losses to Vanderbilt (198-43) and San Diego State (155-78) on Saturday.
UALR's best team event of the day was the 200-yard free relay with the squad of junior Valeriya Teplova, sophomore Courtney Coe, and freshmen Tori Fryar and Courtney Goff placing third with a time of 1:42.13.
UALR's best individual performance came from Coe, who placed third in the 50-yard fly with a time of 26.87.
Getting a top five finish was Fryar in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.10.
UALR returns to action in St. Louis against the Saint Louis Billikens on Friday (Oct. 17) at 6 p.m.
