LITTLE ROCK – This week's featured "Meet Your Trojans" student-athlete is men's basketball player
Lis Shoshi, a junior who grew up in Peje, Kosovo, and played junior college basketball at Howard College.
Shoshi and the Trojans will play an exhibition game at the Jack Stephens Center vs. UAFS on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. Little Rock officially opens its season at the JSC against Central Baptist on Nov. 14.
What are your favorite things to do in Little Rock?I like to go to the movies and eat at Chipotle. The last movie I saw was Mission Impossible.
What's something most people don't know about you? In my language (Albanian), my name means "Tall tree."
Who is the athlete you most admire? Lionel Messi
What advice would you give to children just getting started in athletics? Love the game and work hard.
What's your favorite home-cooked meal? Pite – it is similar to pie filled with vegetables and meat and all this other good stuff.
Tell us about one of your community service events since coming to Little Rock.Our team spent a couple hours at the Miracle League of Arkansas. We spent most of the time playing baseball with the kids there. It was so much fun and we plan to go back.
What's the best reason people should attend your team's games?We're going to win!
