Samantha Gray set a new personal-best score in the three-meter dive as the Trojans took a 211-68 loss to Vanderbilt in Wednesday's dual meet at the Donaghey Aquatic Center.

Gray's score of 274.20 topped her old career-high of 236.25 against Henderson State and Saint Louis earlier this season. Gray also posted a score of 258.75 in the one-meter dive, her third-highest career score in the event.

In the 100-yard backstroke,
Laura Ruiz Astorga took second with a time of 1:00.38.
Kayla Grimm finished sixth, and
Courtney Goff came in seventh.

The team of Ruiz Astorga,
Courtney Coe,
Tori Fryar and
Emma Doll placed second in the 100-yard freestyle relay as they posted a time of 46.28. The team of Goff,
Ann Kharlamova,
Cassie Sanchez and
Imre van Huyssteen came in fifth while
Kara Knapschaefer,
Chelsea Ebert,
Nuria Gallego Murcia and
Shayna Underwood finished sixth.

Fryar took a third-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle relay with a time of 5:12.99. Grimm,
Anela Everett and
Steph Lauer finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.

The 100-yard freestyle saw Doll place third with a time of 55.41. Kharlamova, Ebert and Knapschaefer rounded out the field with finishes of fifth, sixth and seventh, respectively.

van Huyssteen had a third-place time of 33.00 as the lone Trojan in the 50-yard breaststroke.

The 25-yard freestyle had Doll placing third with a time of 11.68. Knapschaefer finished right behind her in fourth with a time of 11.99. Sanchez, Kharlamova and Gallego Murcia finished sixth, seventh and eighth, while Ebert and
Madison Brown took 10th and 11th.

Fryar had another third-place finish, this time in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.86. Kharlamova and Knapschaefer took fifth and sixth while Ebert and Gallego Murcia finished eighth and ninth.

Fryar came in third place for the third time in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:58.69. Brown, Everett and Lauer finished sixth, seventh and eighth, respectively.

The Trojans' final third-place finish of the day came in the 100-yard medley relay as the squad of Ruiz Astorga, van Huyssteen, Coe and Doll finished with a time of 51.52. The team of Underwood, Kang, Sanchez and Goff finished fifth.

In the 50-yard backstroke, Ruiz Astorga finished fourth with a time of 28.68 while
Courtney Goff came in sixth.

The 100-yard breaststroke saw van Huyssteen and Kang finish fourth and fifth with time of 1:11.17 and 1:11.21, respectively.

Coe finished fourth in the 50-yard butterfly with a time of 27.12 while
Cassie Sanchez finished sixth.

Kang had a fourth-place finish in the 100-yard individual medley with a time of 1:03.21. Grimm and Lauer finished sixth and seventh, respectively.

In the 100-yard butterfly, Coe finished fifth with a time of 1:00.89 while Kang took sixth.

Little Rock will now have a little over two weeks to prepare for its final home meet of the season against North Texas, Ouachita Baptist and conference-foe Southern Illinois on Jan. 16. Before that, the Trojans will head to San Juan, Puerto Rico for the Copa Coqui Swim Meet on Jan. 5 at 10 a.m., as part of their annual training trip.
