SAN MARCOS, Texas – Little Rock volleyball (6-13, 2-4 Sun Belt) took a three-set loss (16-25, 12-25, 19-25) to Texas State (12-9, 5-1 Sun Belt) at Strahan Coliseum on Saturday night.

For the second consecutive match,
Marina Avram recorded a double-double with 10 kills and a team-high 11 digs.
Edina Selimovic led the match with six total blocks (one solo and five assisted) and had four kills, and
Carolee Dillard recorded five blocks (one solo and four assisted) with five kills.
Taylor Lindberg had 14 assists and four block assists.

Texas State led the entirety of the first set as it took its largest lead of the frame at 18-5. The Trojans clawed back to cut the deficit to seven at 21-13, but the Bobcats ended the set on a 4-2 run.

Little Rock opened up the second set with a 1-0 lead, but Texas State quickly took back control. The Bobcats jumped out to their largest lead with set point at 24-10 before taking the set with a 13-point win.

The Trojans had their best performance of the night during the third set as the team hit .207 and led the frame with 16 digs and six total blocks. Little Rock kept Texas State's lead to single digits throughout the set with the largest lead coming at 19-10.The Trojans whittled the Bobcats' lead down to four at 23-19, but back-to-back kills by Texas State ended the match.

Sydnee Martin and
Hope Larmour scooped up five digs each.

Little Rock led the match with 12 total blocks as Texas State tallied seven. The Trojans have outblocked their opponents in 18 of 19 matches this season.
