Flanigan Signs Six in Early Signing Period

LITTLE ROCK – Head coach Wes Flanigan has announced the addition of six signees for Little Rock's 2017 recruiting class.

Kris Bankston, Cameron Corcoran, K.J. Gilmore, Damir Hadzic, Camron Reedus and Wanjang Tut have all signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers in Little Rock.

Below is a closer look at each signee.

Kris Bankston, Forward, 6-8
Little Rock, Ark. | J.A. Fair HS

Flanigan on Bankston: "Kris is a local player and the first student-athlete to commit in this class. He is a strong inside player and has the attitude and work ethic to develop into a highly productive player for us. It is important for our program to keep our local talent here and Kris definitely helps us with that. He is currently coached by Little Rock Trojan alumni and Hall of Fame member Charlie Johnson at J.A. Fair High School."

2015-16 Statistics: 15.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks

Bankston will be a freshman in 2017-18.

Cameron Corcoran, Guard, 6-3
Tavares, Fla. | Conrad Academy Prep

Flanigan on Corcoran: "Cameron is a gifted young point guard with a great stroke and high basketball I.Q. He will be able to play multiple positions for us which is a plus. We are really looking forward to coaching Cameron and being a part of his development over the next four years."

2015-16 Statistics: 13.8 points, 2.5 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.1 steals

Corcoran will be a freshman in 2017-18.

K.J. Gilmore, Guard/Forward, 6-5
Atlanta, Ga. | Holmes CC

Flanigan on Gilmore: "K.J. is a strong, versatile guard that scores the ball in multiple ways and will be able to play different positions for us. Last year as a senior in high school he led his team in scoring and was second on the team in rebounding and assists. After spending this year in junior college playing against older and stronger athletes, there is no question in my mind that he will be able to come in next year and contribute immediately."

Gilmore will be sophomore in 2017-18.

2015-16 Statistics: 16.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.5 blocks

Damir Hadzic, Forward, 6-8
Bosnia and Herzegovina | Arlington Country Day

Flanigan on Hadzic: "Damir is a skilled forward with good length. He has shown the ability to score with his back to the basket as well as from the 3-point line. With the number of front-line players we are losing, and with the way that we play, it was important that we find a young man with his size and skill set. He will be a valuable player for Little Rock for years to come."

Hadzic will be a freshman in 2017-18.

2015-16 Statistics: 14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.0 steals

Camron Reedus, Guard, 6-3
Decatur, Ala. | Three Rivers CC

Flanigan on Reedus: "Camron is a very talented guard that can really shoot the ball. With the amount of experience that we are losing in our backcourt it was important that we sign an older guard. Camron started 28 games as a freshman for a hall of fame coach, who is also the winningest coach in college basketball history. We are excited to have him join our program."

Reedus will be a junior in 2017-18. Last July, he participated in the Jerry Mullins Junior College Top 100 Camp, the most prestigious event of the summer for junior college players.

2015-16 Statistics: 17.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists

Wanjang Tut, Forward, 6-7
Omaha, Neb. | Burke HS

Flanigan on Tut: "Wanjang is a versatile player with the ability to score in the post, off the bounce, and from the perimeter. He was one of the top players in the state of Nebraska last year and was named to the Omaha All-Metro Team. We are very fortunate to be able to add a player of his caliber to our team."

2015-16 Statistics: 12.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.8 blocks, 1.4 assists

Tut will be a freshman in 2017-18.
