Before the start of the 2015-16 season, you had to look back to Feb. 2009 to find the last time Little Rock had won five consecutive games. Since then, the Trojans have put together five such streaks, including its first 10-game streak since 1988.

Marcus Johnson Jr. ranks fourth in the Sun Belt in scoring (15.8 ppg) after totaling 29 points on a 9-of-11 effort from 3 in Saturday's win over Central Arkansas. All five Little Rock starters are averaging double figures and rank in the top 30 of the Sun Belt in points per game.

Northern Arizona is 2-8 on the season with wins over Benedictine Mesa and Alabama State to its credit. The Lumberjacks will enter Wednesday's game on a three-game losing streak.

NAU is surrendering 78.4 points per game and allowing its opponents to shoot 46.0 percent from the field so far this season. Mike Green (11.3 ppg) and Ako Kaluna (10.0) are averaging double figures in scoring, while three more players are averaging 8.9 ppg or better.

Little Rock beat Northern Arizona 84-57 at the Jack Stephens Center last season in the only previous meeting between the teams. Marcus Johnson Jr. led all Little Rock players with 15 points while Jalen Jackson scored 14 off the bench. The win improved Little Rock to 10-0, the final victory in the Trojans' program and conference-record win streak to begin a season.

Head coach Jack Murphy is in his seventh season as head coach.
