Trojan Swim Academy Dates Announced

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock swimming and diving will host its annual group swimming lessons for kids ages 4-12 at the Donaghey Aquatic Center in four summer sessions.
 
The first session will take place June 6-9 and 13-16 while the second session will take place June 20-23 and 27-30. The third session takes place July 11-14 and 18-21, and the final session of the summer takes place July 25, 27-29 and Aug. 1-4.
 
Children of all levels of swimming ability are welcome. Both UALR and non-UALR families are welcome. Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
 
Groups will meet Monday-Thursday for two consecutive weeks with groups no larger than five children of similar abilities.
 
Participants will meet in the Donaghey Student Center Aquatic Center on the south end of the pool by the bleachers. Each group will be supervised by a certified lesson instructor. Lifeguards will be on duty.
 
Groups will be determined by swimming ability and age. Every child will be encouraged to try something new and develop their skills in each session. The available session times are 4:30-5:00 p.m., 5:00-5:30 p.m., 5:30-6:00 p.m. and 6:00-6:30 p.m.
