LITTLE ROCK – The National Basketball Association Development League's Maine Red Claws acquired former Trojan
Josh Hagins off waivers on Thursday. The Red Claws are the D-League affiliate of the Boston Celtics.

Hagins will join the team on Friday. The Red Claws host the Greensboro Swarm on Friday and Saturday night.

Most recently, Hagins played professionally for Bosna Royal, a professional team based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Airline High School product played in the 2016 NBA Summer League with the Sacramento Kings.

Hagins ranks in Little Rock's top five for career scoring, assists, steals, field goals and made 3-pointers. He was a First Team All-Sun Belt and NABC All-District selection in 2015-16 after averaging 13.1 points, 4.8 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game.

In Little Rock's double-overtime win over fifth-seeded Purdue in the 2016 NCAA Tournament, Hagins scored 29 of his career-high 31 points after halftime and became the first player in tournament history to finish with at least 30 points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals.
