MONROE, La. – A cold-shooting second half doomed Little Rock (12-10, 3-6 SBC) in a 68-52 loss at ULM (7-15, 1-8 SBC) on Monday night at Fant-Ewing Coliseum. The Trojans shot 32.3 percent in the second half while ULM shot 57.1 percent and made 4 of 5 3-pointers over the final 20 minutes.

Little Rock led by two, 30-28, at halftime and did not trail for the first seven-plus minutes of the second half. ULM took its first lead of the second half on a Marcus Washington trey that made it 38-37 with 12:04 to play.

After ULM went up five, Little Rock pulled within 46-44 on
Deondre Burns' 3-pointer with 6:36 to play. However, the Warhawks responded with an 8-0 run to go up 54-44 and force a Little Rock timeout with 4:45 to play.

The Trojans pulled no closer than eight the rest of the way.

Stetson Billings and
Maurius Hill led the Trojans with 10 points each.
Marcus Johnson Jr. and Burns scored nine points each.

Sam McDaniel led four ULM players in double figures with 17 points.

Little Rock led ULM 30-28 at halftime. In a half that featured three ties and three lead changes, both teams made 12 of 26 shots. The Trojans forced the Warhawks into six turnovers and led 7-0 in points off turnovers at the break.

Billings led Little Rock with eight points at the half. Burns added six on a pair of 3s, including one at the 9:03 mark that gave the Trojans a 21-11 lead, their largest of the half.

Little Rock returns home to host Coastal Carolina at the Jack Stephens Center. The Trojans and Chanticleers tip off on Saturday at 6 p.m.
