LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Cross Country returns to action for its final race of the regular season Saturday as the Trojans will host the Little Rock Invitational at War Memorial Park.
Fans are encouraged to park in Lot 8 on the south side of War Memorial Stadium along Zoo Drive due to other events taking place at War Memorial Stadium Saturday.

- Governor's I-40 Showdown – Part II
Saturday's meet is not just a regular season meet but with Central Arkansas competing, it makes up part of the Governor's I-40 Showdown, the rivalry competition between Little Rock and UCA. The teams previously met at the UCA Invitational and will meet again on Saturday. UCA has a slight 5.5-4.5 edge in this year's showdown following Little Rock Volleyball's win on Sept. 14.
- Challenging Hills
The course at War Memorial Park will challenge Little Rock – and all other teams – with a 5K (for the women) and 8K (men) course with a hilly terrain Little Rock and the War Memorial Park is known for.
- Only Home Cross Country Meet
This will be Little Rock's only home cross country meet of the season and the first chance fans in Little Rock will be able to see the Trojans, including the celebrity fanfare opposing runners often give to distance coach Alan Webb.
