Bummer on the Bayou

LAFAYETTE, La. – An early lead and an overall advantage in blocks was not enough for Little Rock as the Trojans dropped a Sun Belt Conference contest at Louisiana Friday evening, 3-0.

Little Rock (3-17, 1-7) out-blocked the Ragin' Cajuns, 6-5, behind a career-high three blocks – including her first career block solo – by Cassidy Brady. Louisiana (8-14, 4-5) hit .220 to Little Rock's .086. But the Trojans couldn't convert an early lead in the opening set to a match victory.

Louisiana was led by Dree'Ana Abram's 12 kills.
