Three Things to Know
  1. A New Challenge…
When Little Rock heads to the NCAA South Central Regional, the postseason race will present a new challenge for the Trojans. The normal race distances for cross country meets is 5K for the women and 8K for the men but the NCAA goes a little bit further (pun intended) with a 6K distance for the women and a 10K race for the men.
  2. …In Familiar Territory
The NCAA South Central Regional is being held in Fayetteville, Arkansas marking the second trip to Northwest Arkansas this year for the Trojans. Little Rock previously competed at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville on Oct. 5.
  3. A Postseason First
With both teams – men's and women's – heading to Fayetteville for the NCAA South Central Regional, it will be a first for most of the younger runners that make up the Trojan rosters. All of the Trojans competing Friday in Fayetteville will be making their career debuts at an NCAA cross country postseason race.
