FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Little Rock concluded the 2019 cross country season Friday by competing at the NCAA South Central Regional. The Trojan women finished 20
th while the men's team placed 21st.
The NCAA postseason races are longer than standard cross country races with the women running a 6K course while the men compete in a 10k race.

The women's program stood out with three top-100 finishes led by
Vianney Sanchez's 6K time of 23:13.9, placing her 83
rd.
Jordan Edwards and
Hunter Paul recorded back-to-back finishes at 93
rd and 94
th, respectively. Edwards rank 23:25.0 while Paul was a tenth of a second behind at 23:25.1.
On the men's side,
Carter Reynolds ran 33:00.2 to finish 104
th while
Jarred O'Connor finished 115
th, running 33:17.5.
Hunter Tucker ran 34:25.6 to finish 134
th.
With the cross country season now concluded, Little Rock will turn its attention to the indoor track and field season. The Trojans will head to Southern Illinois to open the indoor slate on Dec. 7.
