LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Carol Barbosa led all players with 22 kills and her 16 digs credited her iwht a double-double but even a senior's magic wasn't quite enough as Little Rock fell to ULM, 3-2, in Sun Belt Volleyball action Friday evening at the Jack Stephens Center.
The loss ends a 34-match winning streak over the Warhawks (12-19, 2-13), a streak that dated back to 1992. Little Rock (6-21, 4-11) had been undefeated in five-set matches this season prior to Friday's contest. Set scores were 22-25, 25-14, 22-25, 25-18 and 15-13.
Chloe Carenza led a stingy ULM defense with a career-high 35 digs while Ina Gosen paced the offense with 21 kills.
