SAN MARCOS, Texas – Carol Barbosa registered her seventh career double-double and five different Trojans recorded a block but Little Rock dropped a 3-0 decision at Texas State Friday evening.
Barbosa's 10 kills and 12 digs marked her seventh career double-double – all coming in her senior season.
Despite the loss, Little Rock (6-19, 4-9 Sun Belt) still remains alive for one of eight spots in the Sun Belt Tournament. Meanwhile Texas State (20-8, 12-2) cuts its magic number to one for the regular season title.

- Little Rock trailed by as much as 16-6 in the opening set before a run capped off by a Janae Thurston kill pulled the Trojans within four.
- Diana Giordani recorded Little Rock's only ace of the match in the opening set.
- In the second set, Anna Hurlburt and Madison Nichols teamed up for three blocks. The Trojans had six blocks throughout the entire match.
- Little Rock hit .206 in the final set, its highest hitting percentage of any set Friday night.
