Trojans to Compete in Final Dual Meet of the Season

LITTLE ROCK- The Little Rock swimming and diving team will compete in their final dual meet of the season this Saturday when they travel to Nashville, Tenn. to take on Vanderbilt. This will be the last competition for the Trojans before they compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships.

Last week, Little Rock took home their first dual meet victory of 2019 when they defeated Ouachita Baptist 129-63.

The Trojans notched seven first-place finishes in Arkadelphia as many swimmers had very good days at the pool. Claire Bristow finished first in the 1000-yard freestyle while Ann Kharlamova grabbed a first-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle.

Rachel Maradyn took the 500-yard freestyle in convincing fashion and the relay teams had great success as the Trojans took the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay.

Little Rock will look to have a strong performance before the team competes in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships starting on Feb. 20 in Columbia, Mo.
