Trojans Ready for 2019 MVC Championships

LITTLE ROCK- The Little Rock swimming and diving team will compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championships from Feb. 20-23 in Colombia, Mo.
 
The Trojans were picked to finished sixth in the event according to the 2019 Pre-Championship poll, voted by league coaches. Missouri State was unanimously voted to finish first in the event.
 
In their previous meet, Little Rock fell 72-152 to Vanderbilt when they traveled to Nashville, Tenn. to take on the Commodores. A few Trojans recorded some very solid times, however, as Lindsey Butler impressed in the 50-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke.
 
Relay events for the championship begin on Wednesday at 6 p.m. while preliminaries for the individual events begin on Thursday at 11 a.m.
