Little Rock's Season Ends in Loss to ULM

LITTLE ROCK – Dani Koljanin notched his first career double-double in his final game as a Trojan, but Little Rock closes out the 2018-19 season with a 79-62 loss to ULM in the regular season finale.

The Trojans finish the season at 10-21 overall and 5-13 in Sun Belt Conference play.

Koljanin finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, besting his previous career highs in both categories. Rayjon Tucker finished the year in double figures once again, registering 17 points with five rebounds as he closes the year with 610 points – fourth most in program history.

Deondre Burns also finished with 12 points off the bench as Little Rock shot 44.7% from the floor, knocking down 36.8% of its three-point attempts. But the Trojans were outrebounded 39-29 and watched as ULM converted 11 more free throw attempts to aid in the victory.

Nikola Maric finished with six points, two rebounds and five assists with a block in 25 minutes of work before fouling out.

Similar to the Louisiana game Thursday, Little Rock came out flat in the early going, watching as the Warhawks raced out to an early 8-0 lead over the first three minutes. The Trojans responded with a 14-5 run over the ensuing three minutes, however, taking the lead for the first time at 14-13.

Leading 19-18, ULM used a 16-4 run to build a 34-23 lead at the 6:16 mark, a lead it would never relinquish. The Warhawks kept the lead at around the 10-point mark for the remainder of the half, cut to eight at intermission at 40-32 off a three from Burns.

The momentum for ULM continued into the second half, outscoring the Trojans 17-6 over first seven minutes to extend its lead to 21 at 57-36. Little Rock was able to get as close as 11 in the second half at 66-55, but never seriously threatened down the stretch as ULM closed out the 79-62 victory.
