LITTLE ROCK – Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics
Chasse Conque has announced a number of promotions among the Trojan Athletic Department's senior staff.
Molly Castner and
Eric Silakowski have been given the roles of Deputy Athletic Director while
John Evans has been promoted to Senior Associate Athletic Director.
"I am pleased to announce these well-deserved promotions as we continue to strengthen our administration to better serve our student-athletes, coaches and supporters of Little Rock's Team," Conque said. "These individuals have greatly contributed to the success of Trojan Athletics and I am personally grateful for their passion and relentless work ethic. Our athletics department continues to reach new milestones in every facet and I look forward to the continued strong leadership provided by these three key senior leaders."
Castner is in her third year as a member of the Little Rock senior staff, serving as the Trojans' Senior Woman Administrator and Deputy Title IX Coordinator. Castner oversees the academic efforts for Little Rock's nearly 200 student-athletes, joining the Trojans in 2016 as an Assistant Compliance Coordinator and Academic Success Advisor.
Silakowski attains the title of Deputy Athletic Director for External Operations as he has been with the Trojans for two years. In his role, he oversees Little Rock's external efforts, including ticketing, fundraising and marketing.
Evans has received the promotion to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Events and has been a mainstay for Little Rock Athletics since 2001. Evans oversees the daily operations of the Jack Stephens Center, which houses a number of Trojan athletic programs as well as the administrative offices, while serving as the conduit for outside events at the facility.
The promotions come on the heels of another successful academic year for Little Rock, one which saw success both in competition and in the classroom.
