MARTIN, Tenn. – Janae Thurston registered her first career double-double leading all players with 18 kills and 16 digs but the Trojans couldn't finish a back-and-forth match against Evansville in a 3-0 loss at the Skyhawk Invitational Friday afternoon.
Carol Barbosa added her second career double-double (11 kills, 16 digs) as four Trojans in total posted double-digit digs in the match. But miscues proved problematic as Little Rock (2-9) hit .154 with 37 kills and 19 errors while Evansville (8-2) put down 41 kills with just 14 errors.
Alyssa Nayar also posted a double-double with 13 assists and 12 digs.
