MOBILE, Ala. – Little Rock mounted an 8-1 run late in the third set to force a fourth set and the makings of a similar run would be thwarted by South Alabama in the fourth set as the Trojans dropped a 3-1 decision in Mobile Saturday evening.

Carol Barbosa led Little Rock (2-12, 0-2 Sun Belt) with her fourth double-double of the season as her 18 kills and 15 digs each fell one shy of season-high marks. South Alabama (10-5, 2-0), however, would utilize eight blocks to aid in its sixth consecutive win.
