TULSA, Okla. – A close battle that witnessed 29 tie scores and 17 lead changes fell just out of reach of Little Rock Friday evening as the Trojans dropped a 3-0 decision to Air Force with all three sets being decided by a combined nine points.

- The first set featured 13 ties and nine lead changes. That would be outdone in the second set where 15 ties and eight lead changes occurred.
- Alyssa Nayar's first career ace capped a short 3-0 run that forced a 21-21 tie and an Air Force timeout late in the opening set.
- Janae Thurston's kill in the second set at 15-14 gave Little Rock its first lead of the set. Seven more lead changes would follow in the set.
- Despite a seven-point deficit at 23-16 in the third set, Little Rock went on a 4-1 rally that included an Amna Osmankovic ace to pull within three, 23-20.
