Little Rock Drops Nightcap

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Laura Jansen's double-double and another team performance resulting in double digit blocks wouldn't be enough Friday evening as Little Rock dropped a 3-0 decision to UT Arlington at the Jack Stephens Center.

Little Rock (1-7, 1-6 Sun Belt) posted 10 total team blocks for just the third time this year and a close second set found the Trojans in familiar territory, playing into extra points for the sixth time this season.
 
Jansen posted a team-leading 13 kills and 14 digs to lead the Trojans while Janae Thurston registered a season-high .375 hitting mark.
 
UT Arlington (2-0, 2-0) was led by Brooke Townsend's 16 kills while Brianna Ford posted a double-double with 12 kills and 15 digs.
