Opening Pitch
Little Rock's busy start to the 2020 season continues with a trip to Stillwater, Oklahoma, for a two-game series against Oklahoma State on Tuesday, February 25 and Wednesday, February 26. Both games will be played at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium, getting underway at 4 p.m.

The Week That Was
Little Rock went 4-1 over the last week, upping its overall record to 6-2 and matching the program's best start through eight games since the 2014 season. The Trojans got a 6-4 midweek win against Grambling at Gary Hogan Field on Wednesday, then went 3-1 at the Louisiana Bayou Cajun Mardi Gras Classic in Thibodaux, Louisiana, earning a pair of wins over host Nicholls and Sunday's 7-4 victory over Southern.

Scouting the Cowboys
Oklahoma State is 5-2 on the year and are the winners of four-straight, coming off a midweek victory at Arizona State and a series sweep of UT Rio Grande Valley in Stillwater last weekend. As a team, Oklahoma State is batting .313, led by Max Hewitt's .609 average to start the season. On the mound, the Cowboys have a 4.87 ERA and are allowing opponents to bat .255 on the season.

Series History
Oklahoma State has dominated the all-time series against Little Rock, posting a 45-3 record against the Trojans since 1982. All but two of those games have been played in Stillwater with Little Rock's last victory a 12-6 decision on February 28, 2018. That win snapped a 29-game Cowboy winning streak, dating back to 1987.

Five Things to Know:

1. The past week saw a pair of impressive performances at the plate for Nathan Lyons and Kale Emshoff. Lyons went 12-for-22 over the five game stretch for a .545 average, tallying five RBI and scoring seven times. Emshoff went 9-for-17, highlighted by a 4-for-4 game against Nicholls Friday night. He belted a pair of home runs, including the two-run game-winner in the top of the 10th, driving in six runs and posting a slugging percentage of .882.

2. Cole Evans was dominant out of the bullpen for Little Rock, making a pair of appearances last week. In 6.2 innings, he allowed no hits and retired 20 of the 23 batters he faced with 12 strikeouts. Against Southern Sunday, he entered the game with one out and the bases loaded in the fifth, then proceeded to retire the final 14 Jaguar batters, striking out six.

3. Miguel Soto has registered a strong start in his sophomore campaign for Little Rock, ranking third the Sun Belt in batting average at .484. Soto recorded multiple hit games in his first seven games of the season and leads the team in hits (15), doubles (four) and RBI (seven).

4. Dillon Delgadillo made his presence felt out of the bullpen Wednesday against Grambling pitching 4.1 innings and striking out a career-high 10 while allowing just one hit. He was part of a strong effort from the Trojan pitching staff which combined for 19 strikeouts on the day, one off the program record of 20 set against New Mexico State on May 17, 2002.

5. Oklahoma State is one of six NCAA tournament teams from 2019 the Trojans will face this season. Little Rock is 2-2 against tournament teams thus far this season, taking two of three from Illinois State on opening weekend before a 14-2 loss against McNeese in Thibodaux Saturday afternoon. Southern Miss, Arkansas and Coastal Carolina are the three remaining teams on the schedule that qualified for the postseason last year.
