Three Things to Know

  1. Back In Action
The indoor season technically began in December but now it begins in earnest with the first of three meets scheduled for the month of January starting with the Arkansas Invitational in Fayetteville.

  2. High Hopes
Christian Matamoros and Jonathan Jones are 1-2 in the Little Rock record books in the high jump. Now they will get tested on a larger stage as the Trojan duo will compete against SEC (Arkansas) and Big 12 (Oklahoma) competition. If either can rise to meet the competition, expect the high jump record to be rewritten once again, regardless of where they may finish in the meet.

  3. New Faces
Cross country season saw many new faces appear for the first time in a Little Rock uniform. The same can be expected for both indoor and outdoor track and field seasons with a multitude of newcomers on both the men's and women's side. Who will make the most impact early on?
