Three Things to Know
- Finally Home
After spending most of the season on the road, the Trojans are finally home and will host the Little Rock Open Saturday morning at War Memorial Park. Several teams are making the trek to the capital city including Arkansas State, Central Arkansas, Oral Roberts and ULM.
- Showdown Saturday
Saturday's meet marks the only cross country meet that will determine points in this year's Governor's I-40 Showdown presented by Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. The annual challenge between Little Rock and Central Arkansas has the Trojans looking for their first points of the year after upsets in soccer and volleyball. Two points are awarded to the men's winner and two points are awarded to the women's winner in cross country.
- Last Chance
Saturday's meet marks the last true race preparation for the Trojans before the Sun Belt Championships. The league championship race will take place on Friday, Oct. 29 leaving the Little Rock Open the Trojans' final full challenge before postseason play.
