Little Rock Drops Home Finale

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Nedima Kamberovic was phenomenal with 17 kills and a career-best .552 hitting percentage but Louisiana edged Little Rock in straight sets, 3-0, Saturday evening at the Jack Stephens Center.
 
The loss, coming in Little Rock's home finale, was decided with set scores of 25-22, 25-23 and 25-19. The match featured 26 ties and 12 lead changes.
 
Kamberovic only committed one error in the evening and added a block to her stellar effort in the match. Laura Jansen posted a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs while Nejra Hanic also added 10 kills.
 
Sophia Reynolds served up three of Little Rock's seven aces and Leigh Maher led all players with 23 digs. The Trojans (14-11, 5-8 Sun Belt) hit .231 as a team while Louisiana (13-8, 8-5) hit .291
 
Louisiana was led by Coco Gillett's 17 kills and 10 digs.

  • Little Rock served at least two aces in every set.
