FOLEY, Ala. – Despite a career-high eight blocks by
Nicole Medlin as well as her third consecutive double-digit kill performance, Little Rock's 2021 season came to a close in a 3-1 loss to Troy at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Thursday evening.

Medlin put down a team-leading 10 kills and hit an impressive .421 in the match and helped Little Rock register 14 team blocks but Troy recorded 15 blocks of their own and limited Little Rock to a .049 hitting percentage. Set scores were 19-25, 27-25, 25-9 and 25-23.

Troy (17-11) was led by Cheyenne Hayes' 15 kills while Tori Hester added 13 kills. The Alabama Trojans hit .191 as a team.

Little Rock served up six aces to Troy's three with three of Little Rock's aces coming off the hand of
Laure Jansen.

Laura Jansen recorded seven kills, nine digs and three blocks in the match while
Nejra Hanic recorded eight kills.

Nedima Kamberovic also posted a career-high with seven blocks. The outing marked the fourth consecutive match that Little Rock (14-15) registered double-digit blocks as a team.
