Â
Sunday's meet will have a super sense of championship vibes as South Alabama hosts the meet at the same venue that hosts the Sun Belt Indoor Championships while seven Sun Belt schools are scheduled to participate.

Three Things to Know
- Can Jackson Improve?
Cameron Jackson made a splash in his first-ever collegiate meet, running 6.77 in the 60m dash that still ranks 41st nationally and among the league's best. But No. 41 this far out from the NCAA Indoor Championship qualifying deadlines is tenuous at best and he will need to show improvement if the rookie sprinter wants to continue that splash on the national level.
- A High Jumping 1-2 Punch
Jonathan Jones and Christian Matamoros are a talented 1-2 punch for the Trojans in the men's high jump with Jones ranked 20th nationally while Matamoros comes in at No. 47 on the national list. The duo rank in the top five in the Sun Belt. Look for them to clear new heights in Birmingham.
- All Eyes on the Women's Pole Vault
Little Rock's women's pole vaulters posted stellar marks in their freshmen seasons last year. Since then, the event group has added newcomer Avianna Trinidad to the fold, who registered the second-best mark in school history last week. But we haven't seen Tricia Pierce vault yet this year. Can the women's vaulters take a step forward this weekend in challenging to score points at the conference meet?
