2021 CROSS COUNTRY SCHEDULE
Â
The Trojans will kickoff the 2021 schedule at the ULM Invitational on Sept. 3 before heading to the Texas A&M Invitational on Sept. 25. Then Little Rock will return home to host the Little Rock open at War Memorial Park on Oct. 16 before heading to Mobile, Alabama for the 2021 Sun Belt Championships on Oct. 30.
Â
The NCAA South Central Regionals are set to be held on Nov. 12 in Waco, Texas with the NCAA Championships slated for Nov. 20 in Tallahassee, Fla.
Â
"We set up this year's schedule to allow for some solid training through September and early October with the team's primary focus on the Sun Belt Championship and the South Central Regional," said Director of Track and Field/Head Cross Country Coach
J.P. Behnke. "Our men return their top five performers from last year's squad which finished sixth at the Sun Belt Championship. Four of those five were freshmen so I am excited to see what that group can do now that they have a year of experience under their belt. On the women's side, we will be led by a trio of fifth-year seniors with
Bailey Cronin,
Kimberley Boni and graduate transfer Lindsey Hutchinson."
