Â
To claim their sixth straight victory took considerable effort. A slow start allowed Louisiana Tech (5-8) to claim the opening set as the Trojans hit under .200 in the first two frames. While only hitting .180 in the second set, the Trojans held LA Tech to a .000 clip, leading in kills (18-5) and digs (30-21) in the frame.
Â
Little Rock settled in after that, hitting a combined .289 over the final two sets. The momentum only slowed near the end of the match when the Lady Techsters scored three straight points after
Alyssa Nayar's ace for the Trojans set up match point. But Kamberovic put the match a way with a powerful swing.
Â
Louisiana Tech was led by Carly Doros' 11 kills while McKenzie Johnson added 23 digs.
Â
Little Rock remains on the road next week as the Trojans open up Sun Belt play at Coastal Carolina on Friday, Sept. 24.
