EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Little Rock has been picked to finish sixth in the 2022-23 Preseason Ohio Valley Conference poll, announced by the league as part of OVC Basketball Media Days. The voting was conducted by the league's head coaches and communications directors.
Little Rock tallied 102 total points, sitting sixth among the 10-team league. Morehead State was tabbed the preseason favorites with 138 points and seven first place votes with Tennessee State (130 pts.), UT Martin (120 pts.), Southeast Missouri (115 pts.) and SIU Edwardsville (111 pts.) sitting ahead of the Trojans.
Little Rock is getting set for its first season its new conference home with a good blend of returners and newcomers. The Trojans return seven of its top-nine returning scorers from last year, led
Isaiah Palermo's 10.8 points per game and team-best 291 points.
Jovan Stulic also returns for his senior season averaging 7.8 points and is the top returning shooter, making 51.4% of his shots from the floor and 43.8% from three point range.

The Trojans open up their 2022-23 season in less than three weeks, traveling to Southern Illinois for the season opener on November 7. Little Rock's first time on the newly-renovated Jack Stephens Center court will be on Thursday, November 10, facing Arkansas Baptist as part of a home-opening doubleheader.
