LITTLE ROCK - Little Rock wrestling is starting off season four, the month of November, and their home slate this Tuesday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. within the friendly confines of the Jack Stephens. The Trojans will take on in-state DII Ouachita Baptist in the first match-up between the Arkansas school, with all the action
live streamed on Little Rock All-Access and live tweeted at

"We can't wait to start the 2022-23 season," said head coach
Neil Erisman. "Having Ouachita Baptist here for our home opener is great and especially for our fans that want to see what our state has to offer at the collegiate level. They are tough team and we look forward for a good fight."
"Our team has grown so much in the off season," Coach Erisman added. "The fans are going to see a lot of new faces in the lineup. There is a lot of competition in our practice room right now and it has helped elevated our guys big time."
Guess Who's Back, Back Again
The first starting lineup of the season features several new faces, but fan will recognize familiar faces in
Joseph Bianchi,
Tyler Brennan,
Triston Wills and
Josiah Hill at their respective weight classes: 149, 165, 174 and heavyweight. The four of them also had the highest winning percentages on the team last season and look to continue their upward trajectory.
Five other Trojans have been waiting their turn and are ready for their first career start, while Nebraska transfer
Jeremiah Reno rounds out the group, having earned the spot at 125 after wrestle-offs a little over a week ago. See below for the full list of probables for both Little Rock and Ouachita Baptist.
The Trojans Keep On Building
Last season saw more progress for the Trojans as they grow stronger as well as grow together. Six Trojans are entering their fourth year along with the program's fourth season, while several also begin their third year with the team, making the depth of this squad unlike any other throughout the short history of the team. Highlights from last year include three Trojans receiving hardware at the Pac-12 Championships as well as Wills knocking off five ranked opponents throughout the season, a program-high in a single season.
Big, Busy Month Ahead
The Trojans are putting themselves to the test this November, loading up their schedule with several tournaments along with a dual at Oklahoma. After Tuesday's home opener, the Trojans will head to Jacksonville, Florida for Battle in the River City, a tri-dual for the Trojans and the city of Jacksonville's first-ever collegiate wrestling event. The competition for the Trojans include duals against Iowa State, Campbell, and Chattanooga.
Fans will have to hold tight, as Little Rock will not return home until Sunday, December 18 at 6:00 p.m. after the battle versus Ouachita Baptist tomorrow.
