LITTLE ROCK - The Little Rock swimming and diving team will take on Drury and Henderson State in their last home event of the semester this Friday, with the tri-meet beginning at 2 p.m. at the Donaghey Aquatic Center (DAC). The competition, which will also include the men's teams from both opposing schools, will have live results available on the MeetMobile app. A schedule of events can be viewed below.
"Excited to finished off our home schedule this semester with Drury and Henderson," said Little Rock head coach
Amy Burgess. "We have been raising the bar week by week and the team keeps pushing through and progressing every time."
The Trojans have had two weeks of training following
their dual with North Florida nearly two weeks ago, taking time to work on areas of improvement and sharpen their skills. Although both teams this weekend are Division II squads, they are full of talent, as the Drury women finished fourth at the DII NCAA Championships and Henderson State finished third at the
All-Arkansas Invite hosted by Little Rock last month.
Tomorrow will also mark the last time the Trojans have the home advantage, as Little Rock hits the road three events in a row following Friday's competition.
