LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Cross Country continues postseason competition Friday as the Trojans will compete at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships in College Station, Texas.

The Trojans have 15 athletes slated to compete in Texas with
Matilda Horton leading the women's side and
Zach McPhee leading the men's. Those two runners, both newcomers to Little Rock's Team, were the leaders for the Trojans at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships where both teams finished fifth.

Spencer Cardinal returns to the NCAA Regionals a year after he led Little Rock with a top-100 finish. On the women's side,
Bailey Cronin is making her third regional appearance.

The women's 6K race is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. while the men's 10K will start at 9:30 a.m. The top two teams and the first four finishers in the race not associated with those two teams will advance to the NCAA Championships, held Nov. 19 in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
