DAY ONE RESULTS
200 Medley Relay
The first relay of the week got off to a hot start, as the team of
Caitlin Romprey,
Carolyn Godwin,
Asmalia Redzuan and
Annya Grom set a new program mark in the 200 medley relay, with a time of 1:43.44.

The previous record was only set three months ago at the Kansas Classic. Romprey and Redzuan, who swam the same legs as they did earlier in the year, each shaved off time in their splits to help the team raise the bar. Redzuan's 50 fly split was the second-quickest in the entire pool.
800 Freestyle Relay
The longest relay of the week wrapped up the evening, as the squad of Redzuan,
Lea Zengerling,
Jaelle Carlson, and
Cheryl Poulsen posted a time of 7:33.15, the second-fastest time in school history. Middle legs Zengerling and Carlson each flirted with the one minute and 50 second barrier, boosting the team with lightning quick splits.
The B relay also showed considerable depth for the team, finishing with a time of 7:39.44, just tenths away from beating the A team from Southern Illinois.
Up Next
The action is just heating up for the Trojans, sitting sixth in the team standings after day one of four. Tomorrow, Little Rock will race in the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 freestyle, and 200 free relay.
