ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Little Rock outshot Lindenwood, 11-5, but the Lions took advantage of a set piece goal in the 69
th minute to defeat the Trojans, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in the Ohio Valley Conference debut for both teams.
The Trojans (3-4-2, 0-1-0 OVC) were limited in their opportunities on the day as both teams spent the majority of the first half feeling each other out.

Madison Eisner,
Natalee Geren and
Bronte Peel all took multiple shots for the Trojans but only Arias' shot, as well as one from
Colleen Gilliland, made it on target.
Little Rock goalkeeper
Peyton Urban picked up three more saves and has only allowed two goals over the past seven starts with a goals against average of .63 on the season.
Lindenwood (4-5-1, 1-0-0) scored the lone goal of the game goal from a corner kick off the foot of Rachel Jackson. The ball sailed over all Little Rock defenders and into the back of the net.
Little Rock will be back in action this Thursday back at the Coleman Sports Complex for a match against the Skyhawks of UT Martin. As a part of Pride Weekend celebrations on campus, the Trojans will be holding special events and promotions surrounding the game.
