LITTLE ROCK - The Little Rock swimming and diving team welcomes North Florida to the Donaghey Aquatic Center (DAC) this Friday, hosting a two-session dual meet at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. The meet will be scored as a single dual, with live results available on the MeetMobile app. The schedule of events can be viewed below.
"We are looking forward to welcoming North Florida to Little Rock for the first time," said Little Rock head coach
Amy Burgess. "It should be a good dual and we are looking forward to testing the teams with a morning and afternoon session. There were a lot of takeaways from last weekend, and this team is ready to continue the momentum!"
The Trojans have had little turnaround time following the
All-Arkansas Invite last Saturday, and will have to be ready to race fatigued, which includes swimming in several longer events that Little Rock not has yet competed in this season, from the 400 IM to the 200s of each non-free oddstroke. It will be an opportunity for the team to improve in their own pool ahead of their last home meet of the semester, a tri-meet featuring Drury and Henderson State on Oct. 7.

North Florida, which will use this Friday as their season-opener, has somewhat of a similar squad compared to the Trojans in terms of depth. While the strong Little Rock sprint corps are likely to give the home team an edge, it may come down to pure grit from the Trojans as a whole as they look to secure their first dual win of the season.
