Three Things to Know
- Wake Me Up When September Ends
Because we might be taking a nap. The Trojans will compete in four meets during the month of September before running in only two meets in each of the months of October and November. That stretch finally wraps up Friday with the Chile Pepper Invitational in Fayetteville.
- Miss Us Yet?
Think the Sun Belt programs miss seeing us? Maybe so, as several are scheduled to compete alongside Little Rock's Team Friday afternoon including Arkansas State, Louisiana, Texas State, ULM and UT Arlington. Then again, maybe not as Little Rock beat Texas State on both the men's and women's side two weeks ago at the Texas A&M Invitational.
- Little Rock in the Top 10 - You've Gotta #OVCit!
Not just see but pay attention. Little Rock's
Zach McPhee is one of two Trojans in the OVC's top 10 performance chart in the 8K this cross country season, ranking fourth while
Spencer Cardinal ranks ninth. On the women's side,
Matilda Horton is listed second in the OVC's 5K charts this year and is one of four Trojan women in the league's top 10 on the year. Look for each Little Rock runner to improve their placing in the OVC ranks this weekend.
