COOKEVILLE, Ten.- Little Rock Soccer concedes a loss in the regular season finale to the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles after a back-and-forth game that was decided in the 82nd minute.
What Happened
Little Rock controlled the game for much of the first half, but would ultimately concede a goal in the 39th minute. The Trojans would go into the halftime break down 0-1.
In the second half, the Trojans caught a gust of life as
Bronte Peel notched her 4th goal of the season in the 68th minute. After tying the game, the Trojans would go on to play their typical stifling brand of defense, but would allow another goal in the 82nd minute off of a set piece. That Golden Eagle goal would ultimately go on to be the game winning goal as Tennessee Tech would win 2-1.
What's Next
As regular season wraps up in the OVC, the 8th seeded Trojans look ahead to the conference tournament where they will face UT Martin at the host cite of Southern Indiana. Kick off is set to commence at 1 p.m. and the winner will move on to play Southern Indiana on Sunday.
