This is the best ranking for the team since 2013.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Little Rock men's cross country team is ranked number nine in the latest USTFCCCA South Central Regional poll released today.  This is the highest ranking for the team since 2013.

WEEK FIVE RANKINGS

"All season long, our men have kept their heads down, working really hard," said Associate Head Cross Country Coach Brock Hime.  "As a coach, it's great when you see your team accomplish something that hasn't happened in a long, long time.  They did that his last weekend at conference and now with this ranking.  They are seeing that their work and sacrifices made are coming to a head.  We aren't where we want to be, but these men are taking steps to getting this distance program back to prominence.  I love it, hail Trojans!"

The Trojans finished third this past weekend at the OVC Championships, their highest finish at a conference meet since 2013.  The team was led by Spencer Cardinal who placed second overall.

Up next for Little Rock is the NCAA South Central Regional in Fayetteville, Ark. on November 10th.
