LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Little Rock men's basketball continues their home stand on Saturday as the Trojans host Tulsa. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. at The Jack Stephens Center. Fans can use code THANKS for $5 general admission tickets.
Little Rock is coming off of their fourth straight loss and second straight to Georgia State with a 93-90 overtime defeat at home on Wednesday. In that game,
KK Robinson led all scorers with a career-high 26 points and added seven assists and seven rebounds.
Cougar Downing recorded a season-high of 20 points, while
Jamir Chaplin recorded his second double-double of the year with 13 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.
DeAntoni Gordon added 19 points, six rebounds, and a team-high three blocks.
Tulsa enters the contest 4-0 after defeating South Carolina State 90-70 on November 20. For the Golden Hurricanes, PJ Haggerty leads the team in points averaging 18.8 per game, while Jared Garcia leads the team in rebounds averaging 7.8 per game.
This will be the 13th meeting between the two teams with the Golden Hurricanes leading the all-time series record 7-5. Tulsa has won the past two contests against the Trojans including the last on November 26, 2021 in Tulsa. The Golden Hurricanes won 77-63. The last Little Rock win against Tulsa was on December 3, 2016 when the Trojans won 72-62 at home.
