LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Little Rock Men's Basketball continues their home stand on Wednesday as the Trojans host UTSA. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. at The Jack Stephens Center. Fans can use the code TROJANS to purchase $5 General Admission tickets.
Little Rock enters the contest 4-6 after losing 85-68 to Winthrop on Sunday. In that game,
Jaylen Crocker-Johnson led the team with a career-high 15 points and contributed nine rebounds.
Bradley Douglas contributed 14 points, while
Jamir Chaplin knocked down 11 points.
Cougar Downing scored ten points in the loss.
UTSA enters the contest 5-4 after defeating Arkansas-Fort Smith 93-60 on Sunday. For the Roadrunners, Christian Tucker leads the team in scoring averaging 13 points per game, while Dre Fuller, Jr. leads the team in rebounds averaging 7.6 per game.
This will be the 17th meeting between the two teams with Little Rock leading the all-time series 11-5. This will be the first meeting since February 14, 1991 where UTSA won in overtime 83-74, and both teams were a member of the Trans America Atlantic Conference (TAAC).
The last victory for the Trojans over the Roadrunners was on March 7, 1990 in the TAAC Tournament. Little Rock won 99-83.
