LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Little Rock Men's Basketball team returns home on Sunday as the Trojans host Winthrop. Tip-off is set at Noon as the first game of a double-header.
Little Rock enters the contest 4-5 after a 75-71 non-conference loss at Central Arkansas Thursday. In that game,
Jamir Chaplin led all scorers with 21 points, while
Jaylen Crocker-Johnson recorded career-highs of 13 points and 15 rebounds.
Cougar Downing recorded 13 points, and
Bradley Douglas knocked down ten.
Winthrop enters the game 7-3 after a 88-82 win over Queens (NC). For the Eagles, K.J. Doucet leads the team in scoring averaging 14 points per game, while Alex Timmerman leads the team in rebounds averaging 6.1 per game.
This will be the second meeting between the two teams. Winthrop won the only contest 80-75 on December 3, 2020 in Louisville, Ky.
